Fall Merchandise Sale
$$$$
 | Thanks to everyone who supported the merchandise sale |
| Profit: $1,762 (better than last year's sale
 )

| The money will go towards upcoming events: auction, talent show, formal |
Spring Merchandise Sale $$$$
| Yes another one! |
| Tentative Dates:March 8-22 (that is if we want the merchandise delivered by Parent's Day April 7) |
| Trying to include: tank-tops, wind-breakers, baby-doll shirts (I believe that is what they are called) |
| Need new design ideas, otherwise we will have to use the same designs as in the fall |
| Ideas to increase sales: 1) sell at Carle Clinic (booth in the breezeway, Chris Doran is looking into reserving it) 2) send a flier to parents with order forms so that they can place their orders and pick up their merchandise on Parent's Day |

| Urbana is looking for a student who would like to be part of the admissions committee intervewing applicants |
| Training involves shadowing present student intervewers and committee |

National Humanism in Medicine Award

| This award is open to M2-M4 |
| Award is given to the best medical school faculty clinician |
| Award = $1000 for recipient & $5000 for the school |
| Only 1 Nominee for all 4 sites is allowed |
| This Award is also given to a student |

Anatomy Memorial Service
| Tentative Date: May 6 or 9 |
| Need volunteers to make this event successful |
| There will be a meeting next month for those interested |

Peoria/Rockford Exchange
| Peoria and Rockford are interested in inviting students to come up and visit their intended site before switch day |
| This will give the M1 student an opportunity to see what the site has to offer in terms of housing, curriculum, masters programs, etc. |
| They are willing to answer any burning questions you may have and an informational gathering will be scheduled: "What I wish I would have known before I came here" |
| The event is trying to include an overnight stay so that you can see the nightlife as well |
