Student Research Poster Requirements

The Allerton Research Symposium Planning Committee is currently accepting student poster commitments. If you would like to present a research poster, please complete and submit the poster abstract form by Friday, July 29th, 2005.

Poster Guidelines:

1. You are responsible for making your poster. The size of the poster boards are 4' by 4'. Kinko's and Campus Printing Services can print your poster for you. You can even e-mail a Power Point presentation or a PDF file to Kinko's.
   
   
2. It is best for you to take care of your own poster. We will provide easels and mounting boards. Essentially, you will just need to bring your poster and tacks to the conference.
   
   
3. All poster presenters must agree to stand next to their poster during the 1 hour poster session to answer questions. There will be a contest conducted during the poster session. All students who attend will have the opportunity to vote for the best poster. A cash prize will be given to the poster presenter chosen as having presented the overall best poster. The poster presenter must be present during the poster session to win this award.
   
   
4. Your poster does not need to represent a completed work. We encourage you to include works-in-progress.
   
   
5. Please submit the poster abstract form including the title, authors and abstract of your poster by Friday, July 29th, 2005.
